Human Water

Warm liquid collects in my tear ducts
Ready to burst forth at any moment
I try to hold them back
But gravity wins
And they trickle slowly down my pale face
Salty fluid caresses my skin
Moist and glistening
Runs onto the floor
Creating ripples of sadness.
They come faster now
Not able to stop
Erupting silently
Saying more than I ever could
Clearly pronouncing my state
They comfort me
Exposing my soul
To the world.
