Welling up inside my soul
It comes as a blank stare.
Loneliness fills the empty space
I expand in.
Can you leave me be, rather,
Stay, please, stay;
My heart is heavy and
Tears fall out of my ducts
Through the depths of my chest.
I cannot sleep
Atop a cold bed each night.
You are the key to my loneliness!
End my restlessness,
Set my soul free from it's
Self-burdening funk,
Before I become just another drunk.
