between layers of skin,
tingles, tickles of soft wind
brings a realization smile,
the layers are everywhere.
What lies beneath your skin?
Layers of muscle, nervous system, veins, arteries and bone.
What lies under the earth?
Layers of water, dirt, lava, molten rock, rock and more.
Layers are a part of us,
a part of every aspect of life,
you can only see them,
